Your trading account's base currency is set when the account is created and cannot be changed afterwards.
If you want to trade using a different base currency, you can open an additional trading account with your preferred currency if it is available for your region and account type.
Axi Trading Platform accounts can be opened in a range of base currencies. The currencies available to you depend on your region and account type, so it's worth checking what's available before you create an account or make a deposit.
The way you signed up decides your default account currency.
Signed up on the Axi mobile app: Your Axi account currency is set to the standard option for your region. For example, this could be USD or CAD currency.
Signed up on the Client Portal: Your Axi account uses the same base currency you chose for your main MT4/MT5 trading account when you signed up. This means your account can be held in a wider range of currencies, such as PLN, EUR, or JPY, as long as the currency is supported for your account.
You most likely signed up on the Client Portal, so your Axi account is matching your MT4/MT5 trading account currency.
The base currency of an MT4 or MT5 trading account cannot be changed through the Axi Trading Platform app or Axi Client Portal.
If you need a different base currency, open an additional trading account through the Axi Client Portal and select the available currency you want during the account setup.
