How to deposit funds using Local Money Transfer in Colombia via the Axi Trading Platform?Learn about the requirements, limits, and steps to complete a Local Money Transfer in Colombia deposit in the Axi mobile app.

You can deposit funds using Local Money Transfer by accessing the Axi mobile app, selecting your trading account, and completing the payment through the supported provider. 

Eligibility & requirements 

  1. This payment method is available only to residents of Colombia.

  2. Deposit limits: Minimum COP 37,147.27 to maximum COP 40,000,000.

  3. A valid Tax ID number is required to complete the deposit.

Colombia local bank transfer rules 

  1. You must enter your Tax ID number when making your first deposit using Colombia Local Money Transfer.

  2. The Tax ID must contain 6-10 digits (numbers only).

  3. Once added, the Tax ID cannot be changed or modified.

  4. Entering an incorrect Tax ID may cause the deposit to fail. If this happens, please contact the Customer Success team for assistance.

  5. If you did not provide your city during onboarding, you will be prompted to enter it also during the deposit process

Steps to complete 

  1. Log in to the Axi mobile app. 

  2. Tap the Profile icon and click “Deposit Fund” from the side task bar.  

  3. Select the trading account you want to deposit into. 
    Note: Depositing into the wrong account may result in delays due to internal transfer processing.

  4. Select “Local Money Transfer” as your payment method

  5. Enter the deposit amount (COP or USD)
    Note: Exchange rates are system-generated and refresh every 10 minutes

  6. Review the details and click “Make Deposit”.

  7. You will be redirected to the payment provider’s page, you can view deposit reference number, deposit amount, bank transfer instructions, beneficiary details, and other information.

  8. Make the payment by clicking “Accept Payment” to proceed with your deposit. To cancel, click “Decline Payment”

  9. After clicking “Accept Payment,” your deposit will be submitted to our system for processing.
    Note: A processing message will appear and may take 1 to 2 minutes. Please do not close the screen during this time.

  10. A “Deposit Successful” notification will pop-up once your deposit has gone through.

  11. Check your dashboard to confirm that the funds have been credited to your account.
