Leverage is a mechanism to increase market exposure by borrowing capital. In effect, it means you only have to deposit a percentage of the cost of buying the position to gain full exposure; the higher the leverage, the higher the potential gains or losses.
Leverage in the Axi Trading Platform is set at a ‘product’ level, meaning each market has its own maximum leverage; this is different from MT4, where leverage is set at the ‘account’ level. As such, leverage in the Axi Trading Platform can only be selected and changed when you are placing a trade or order.
