Assignment Activities vs. Practice Activities

Throughout your course, you may be asked to submit variety of different activities. Two examples of activities are an Assignment Activity and a Practice Activity.

  • An Assignment Activity is a one-time submission where you may be asked to submit their submission in different formats, such as text, document, video or audio upload.

  • A Practice Activity is specifically designed to develop verbal and presentation skills through providing a scenario-based prompt. You would then record a video or audio file responding to that scenario.

NOTE: Your course administrators will determine whether you are able to submit video, audio, or both.

Assignment Activity

In assignment activities where you are able to submit a video or audio file, you will see options to upload or record your submission.

A Practice Activity is displayed with a blue microphone-camera icon and a blue Practice Now button. After selecting the Practice Now button, you will be guided through the scenario-based activity.
