Overview
You can generate a public URL of the project that can be shared with potential responders, streamlining the process of collecting responses from vendors who may not have been directly invited. You can make your project accessible to external responders by enabling the public access setting. Making an RFP public is useful when you want to broaden participation or streamline the onboarding process for new vendors.
Enabling public access for your project
To make your project public and allow open participation:
- Navigate to your Request project.
- Click the Menu and select Request settings.
- Enable the Public RFP toggle to generate a unique URL for your RFP.
- Copy the URL and share it with potential responders.
Ensure that you publish the project before sharing the URL.
Managing Auto-Invite
The Auto-Invite option is displayed when you enable Public RFP and you can enable or disable it for responders.
- If Auto-Invite is enabled, responders can sign up and make submissions immediately after accessing the public URL.
- If Auto-Invite is disabled:
- Issuers will receive an email notification when a new responder signs up.
- The issuer must go to the Manage Responders page and review responders with the Pending Approval status.
- To manage vendor access, click the three-dot Menu next to the responder’s name to approve or delete their participation.
- Once approved, the responder will receive an email invitation to formally accept and participate in the Request project.
