The Views feature lets you maintain one Trust Center while tailoring access for different audiences, ensuring that recipients see only the information they are authorized for while preserving a seamless Trust Center experience.
You can create customized shareable Views that define which sections and documents of your Trust Center are shared with specific audiences. Versions can include documents, controls, FAQs and the entire Trust Center itself (if they’re selected by region), giving you control over the information users access when they explicitly share it with a buyer, or when the buyer submits a request to View the Trust Center.
You can create Views for both private and public profiles.
When sharing profiles, you can select one or more Views or share the full profile.
Viewers and recipients only see the content included in the View they were given. If they have access to more than one View they can switch between them.
Views can be edited or deactivated at any time.
Admins with access to Organization Settings can enable View permissions (Create Views, Manage Views, and Share from Views).
Note: Enabling Create Views automatically enables Manage Views.
Default roles are:
Super Admin, Admin, and Manager: Access for all three permissions.
Team Member: Access All for Share Only.
You must be an Admin to enable or disable the Landing Page feature at the organization level.
If you set up a landing page, it will be the only page that Trust Center visitors see until you grant them access to additional Views.
Admins or profile owners can enable or disable the Landing Page feature at the organization and profile levels. This adds more control over when Views are used as landing experiences and avoids unnecessary complexity.
When creating a profile, and the Landing Page feature is turned on at the organization level, it will be turned on at the profile level. Disabling it at the organization level won’t disable it at the profile level.
When enabled, users can choose the specific view visitors are shown first.
When disabled, the full profile is shown as the landing page.
Go to Organization Settings > Profile Center > Other Settings > Landing Page Settings.
Turn the Landing Page Selection toggle on.
Go to the Settings tab of the Trust Center and scroll down to the Landing Page Settings section.
Turn the Landing Page Selection toggle on.
Open the profile and click the Views tab, then click Create New View.
Enter the View Name, then enter a description.
(Optional) For public Trust Centers, check Set as Landing Page.
If you set up a landing page, it will be the only page that Trust Center visitors see until you grant them access to additional Views.
Note: You can still have access control enabled for documents on the landing page, but as a best practice we recommend making the documents on the site public or limiting the number of documents visible on the page.
If you don’t set up a landing page, all pages/views will be visible to Trust Center visitors. Access control, NDAs, watermark, and viewing settings will still be honored for documents if you decide to enable these features.
The landing page remains visible at all times; you can't remove user access to it without selecting a different one, or disabling the landing page option altogether.
You can change the landing page at any time by:
Creating or editing another View and setting it as the landing page.
Going to the list of Views, clicking the three-dot Menu next to the View you want to use and selecting Set as Landing Page.
Note: If you use this option, you’ll be asked if you want to retain users’ access to the existing landing page or remove it from their visibility. By default, all users will have access to the landing page at all times.
You can disable the landing page option by going to Profile Settings and turning off the Landing Page Selection toggle.
Click Next.
Select the information you want to be visible to users. You can select:
Compliance badges
Documents
Security topics/Controls
FAQs
Sub-Processors
Text sections
(Optional) Click Preview to see what the View looks like to the people it's shared with.
Click Activate to publish the View.
Share the profile as you normally would. When the Share with people pop-up displays, enter the email(s) of the client you want to share the profile with and choose the View(s) you want to share.
Note: Users can be given access to more than one View from the Profile Center list page, the main Profile page, or the Views page.
Click Share Profile.
Q: What are the benefits of using Views instead of creating separate profiles?
A: The biggest advantage of views is you only have to maintain one Trust Center where you can granularly determine what information you want to share with customers and prospects based on the products or services that are relevant to them. Examples of how this could be used are segmenting products, regions, and more.
Q: Can I give people access to more than one View?
A: Yes. And if you use a public View with a landing page you will always have at least one view visible to anyone that visits your site.
Q: What is the difference between how Views work within public and private profiles?
A: The biggest difference is that private profiles allow you to share one or more views with customers proactively and they only see the information you’ve decided to share with them.
Public profiles/Trust Centers have a public URL that can be visited by anyone, so you must have at least one page visible for public visitors. This is why we offer the option of having a landing page OR showing all views for public profiles—giving you flexibility in how you structure your Trust Center.
Q: Can customers see the information that’s not included in the views?
A: No, it’s hidden from them.
Q: If I want to include multiple products in my Trust Center, should I include a View for each one?
A: Yes, if you want to be able to select which products customers and prospects have access to. You could create a View for each product and then share the most appropriate one with your recipients.
Q: Can I have more than one landing page?
A: No, not at this time. We recommend that you create separate Trust Centers/Profiles if you need more than one.
Q: What is the benefit of using a landing page?
A: One of the most commonly cited needs by customers is to only show their prospects and customers the data that’s relevant to them. If everything is shown, it creates confusion and noise for the visitor. A landing page gives your organization the ability to share some basic information about itself publicly, and then grant additional access as needed.
Q: Are public profiles required to have a landing page?
A: No, the option can be disabled in the Profile Settings at any time.
Q: Can I restrict access to the landing page?
A: No, it’s publicly accessible to anyone visiting your site.
