Click the video below for a quick walkthrough.
Automatic vs. manual updates
To maximize efficiency, we automatically check the files for updates once per day, and when users preview or download a file.
You can perform manual updates from the Content Library at any time. To perform manual updates on files attached to Q&A pairs, click the three-dot Menu and select Update File.
Exporting projects to Seismic
- Go to the Export page, then click the More Options menu next to the file and select Publish to Seismic.

- Specify the file location where the export package should be published, then click Upload. The export package appears as a folder you can open to see all the files in the package, including any attachments.
Support for LiveDocs
Seismic users can attach LiveDocs stored in the Seismic Enablement Cloud to projects, sections, and Q&A pairs.
- You'll be prompted to enter the fields in the LiveDoc, customizing it.
- When you are finished, the application compiles the finished document and attaches it.
Tables in LiveDocs
We also support table values in LiveDocs when generating attachment files for projects and imports. When a Seismic table has variables present, you can add values for those variables in the application.

- After you click the Attachment icon, select Seismic and navigate to and select the file(s).
- Click Next.
- Complete the fields as needed.
Note: The columns listed in the TableField section correspond to the column variables present in the Seismic table.- Click + Add Empty Row to add more values.
- Click Edit to either duplicate or delete the row.
- Drag and drop the rows to reorder them.
- Click Generate to generate the LiveDoc and attach it. You can click the attachment to see a preview.
