Raising clarifications

Overview

If something in a request is unclear, you can send a clarification to the issuer to get more information to help you complete the questionnaire. You can enter clarifications for the request and then export them into an Excel spreadsheet. After the issuer updates the spreadsheet with the needed information, you can import it into Responsive. 

You can create clarifications at the section and question level.

A questionnaire is unclear about whether the question refers to one location or all your company’s locations. You can send them a clarification from Responsive to get the details.

Requesting clarifications

  1. Go to the Answering page and click the Issuer Communications icon.
  2. When the Issuer Communications tab opens in the right pane enter your clarification in the text box.
  3. (Optional) Click the Attach icon to attach a file.
  4. Click Post. The clarification is sent and a success message is displayed.
  5. Once the clarification is sent, you can edit or delete it by clicking the three-dot Menu and selecting the required option.
