Understanding permissions is key to controlling what users can do with Proposal Builder. Different permissions are available for standard and custom user roles, helping you manage user access effectively.
In addition to the standard out-of-the-box (OOTB) permissions for the other modules, standard roles have the following permissions for Proposal Builder:
Proposals:
Create, view, and manage all proposals, including those created by anyone in your organization.
View Proposal Analytics.
Download proposals in Word and PDF formats.
Share proposals.
Assign reviewers.
Proposal templates: Create, view and manage all Proposal templates, including those created by others in the organization.
Organization Settings: Create and manage catalog structures, preferences and custom fields.
Content Library: Create and manage sections and catalogs in the Content Library.
Response template: Create and manage Response templates.
Proposals
Create, view, and manage all proposals, including those created by anyone in your organization.
View Proposal Analytics
Download proposals in Word and PDF formats.
Share proposals.
Assign reviewers.
Proposal templates: Create, view and manage all Proposal templates, including those created by others in the organization.
Organization Settings: Create and manage catalog structures, preferences and custom fields.
Content Library
Create and manage Sections and Catalogs in the Content Library.
Response Template: Create and manage Response templates.
Note: The Proposal Builder Admin role is specific to Proposal Builder and does not have any permissions for other modules on the platform.

View Proposal Analytics of proposals they create.
Download proposals they create in Word and PDF formats.
Share proposals they create.
Assign reviewers they create.
Content Library:
Create sections and catalogs in the Content Library.
Manage sections and catalogs they create/save in the Content Library.
Response template: Create and manage Response templates.
Users with this role can't access Proposal Builder.
As a Super Admin, you can create custom roles to define access to Proposal Builder features.
Go to Organization Settings > Users > Manage Roles and select Add Role.
Enable Proposal Builder (if not already enabled) and customize the permissions as needed, then click Add Role.
