Managing clarifications and messages

Overview

If something in a project is unclear, you can raise a clarification to get more information. You can also send messages to an Issuer.

Raising clarifications

Raising clarifications from the Answering page

Users can directly raise a clarification against a question from the Answering page.

  1. Go to the Answering page and click the Issuer communications icon.
  2. Click the Clarifications tab and enter your clarification in the text box.
  3. (Optional) Click the Attachments icon to add an attachment.
  4. Click Post. A mail is sent to the issuer and responses from issuers are communicated back in mail.
    Note: All clarifications answered by the issuer are listed under the Answered tab.

Raising clarifications from the Communications tab

For any clarification not related to a questionnaire, use the Issuer Communications page.

  1. Go to the Issuer Communications page and click Create New Clarification.
  2. Enter your clarification in the text box and click Post. A mail is sent to the issuer and responses from issuers are communicated back in mail.
    Note: All clarifications answered by the issuer are listed under the Answered tab.

Sending messages to issuers

Sending messages from the Answering page

  1. Go to the Answering page and click the Issuer communications icon.
  2. Click the Messages tab and enter your message in the text box.
  3. Click Send.

Sending messages from the Communications tab

  1. Go to the Issuer Communications page and click Create New Message.
  2. Enter your message and click Send Message.
    Note: You can click Edit to edit the content of sent messages to the Issuer.
  3. (Optional) Send further messages to the Issuer using Reply in the message box.
