Overview

You can organize URLs into reusable collections and associate them with a dataset. Datasets represent a group of collections that can be used to apply content filters and tags during search and response generation in Guided Projects.

Once organized, you can search and apply answers only within the selected dataset (including those containing external websites), ensuring greater control and precision in content sourcing and attribution and accurate tracking of data sources and project outcomes.

Configuring external sources as datasets

1. Go to Organization Settings > Responsive AI > Preferences, then scroll down and turn the External Data Sources toggle on.

2. Click Add and select Website.

3. Enter the URL in the provided field, select a collection from the drop-down, then click Add.

4. To tag the collection to a dataset, to Organization Settings > Responsive AI > Datasets.

5. Click the newly created dataset; when the Dataset Configuration screen opens select the same collection you previously assigned the URL from the Collections drop-down.
   Note: You can click Create Dataset to make a new dataset.

6. Click Save.
