How does concurrent editing of responses work?

Overview

When a question is assigned to more than one author, it's possible for multiple people to respond to a question simultaneously.

You can tell if another user is working on response if their name badge shows next to the question.

Concurrent Editing of Responses

When an author saves a response, the other authors working in the question/section are notified after 20 seconds of saving the answer:

Do one of the following:

  • Select Accept Incoming Changes to accept the edits made by the other author and override your response.

  • Select Ignore Changes to ignore the edits made by the other author and continue with your response. The other authors will be displayed with a notification icon. Hovering over it shows that the question has been modified by another author as shown below:
