The Content Health Dashboard is a powerful tool designed to help content managers actively manage and improve the quality, relevance, and governance of the content in the library. By providing comprehensive visibility and actionable insights, the dashboard transforms content management from a manual, error-prone process into a streamlined, data-driven experience.
Setup and access
Admin and custom user roles with the Content Health Dashboard permission will have access to the dashboard.
Click the Health Dashboard icon on the left navigation of the Content Library to view the dashboard.
Understanding the dashboard layout
Summary card
The summary card offers a quick snapshot of your content library’s health and recent activity for the past 30 days. It highlights the current status (Good, Moderate, or Poor) and lists the top factors affecting content quality. You’ll see clear metrics for items added, updated, archived, and moved to trash, helping your team spot trends and areas to improve at a glance.
Note: Activity metrics are based on completed days and exclude today.
Click More details to view historical activity trends, and use the checkboxes below the chart to see specific activity types over time.
Health dimension cards:
Classification: Evaluates how well content is organized using tags and collections.
Use the dropdown to switch between viewing metrics for Tagged content (default) or content Added to collections.
Click Details to access the Historical Trend chart.
The trend is shown based on your selection from the dropdown on the Classification card.
Toggle Show benchmark to view or hide the benchmark line on the chart.
Utilization: Measures the extent to which content is actively used in projects/proposals.
Click Details to access the Historical Trend chart and the Top 5 search terms that returned no results.
Toggle Show benchmark to view or hide the benchmark line on the chart.
Click View Report to view the full Content Search Terms report in a new tab for deeper analysis.
Click Details in the Obsolete Content section to view the Historical Trend and a color bar that shows when items were last used or updated, ranging from 1-2 years up to more than 5 years.

Click any segment on the bar chart to open a filtered view of your library in a new tab.
Click Details in the Duplicate Content section to view the trends for both Question and Answer Duplicates over time.

Ownership & Review Coverage: Highlights content ownership and review status.
Click Details in the Owned content section to view the content ownership historical trend.
Toggle Show benchmark to view or hide the benchmark line on the chart.
Click Details in the Reviewed content section to explore trend and a list of the Top 5 overdue reviews.
Toggle Show benchmark to view or hide the benchmark line on the chart.
The list defaults to Users but can be switched to show Teams.
Each section uses color-coded indicators to signal health status for quick assessment.
Green indicates a good or healthy status, meaning everything is functioning well.
Orange signals a warning or moderate status, suggesting caution and that attention may be needed to prevent issues.
Red denotes a poor or critical status, highlighting problems that require immediate action or correction.
Note: Historical trend data for all the charts is updated on the 1st of every month.
Transforming insights into action
From the dashboard, you can click Take Action on each metric card to:
Navigate directly to filtered views of specific content issues (such as untagged, duplicate, or unreviewed content).
Assign owners or reviewers to content items.
Initiate content clean-up activities.
Downloading the Dashboard as a PDF
You can download the full Content Health Dashboard as a PDF file by clicking at the top of the page. This lets you save the dashboard for offline use or easily share it with your team.
