Overview

You must first create a Checkbox-type custom field in Salesforce in order to bypass non-disclosure acts (NDAs) for contacts within Salesforce.

Creating custom fields to bypass NDAs - Salesforce (Classic)

  1. Click Setup from the top navigation bar, then click Customize from the left pane and select Fields from the Accounts object type.
  2. Click New in the Account Custom Fields & Relationships section.
  3. Select Checkbox as the Data type and click Next.
  4. Enter the details of the custom field and click Next.
    Note: Fields marked with red are mandatory fields.
  5. Specify the field level security and click Next.
  6. Select the layouts you want to add the custom fields to.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click on the newly created field on Fields & Relationships page.
  9. Copy the API Name corresponding to the newly created field.
