Setting up Trust Center for Salesforce (Lightning)

Once you have the Responsive package installed and set up on your Salesforce account you can set up Profile Center.

Permissions

Users must have the System Administrator privilege in Salesforce to complete the installation.

Prerequisites

As a prerequisite, you must have the Responsive package installed and set up on your Salesforce account. To install and configure Responsive on Salesforce, follow the instructions mentioned in the article below.

If you have the Responsive package installed already you can skip this step.

Setting Up Profile Center on Salesforce (Lightning)

Once you have installed and set up Responsive on Salesforce, follow the steps below create a new section for Profile Center.

  1. Login to Salesforce and go to the Accounts page, then click the Setup Menu and select Edit Page.
  2. Create a new section for Profile Center by dragging and dropping Visualforce from the left-hand menu into the opportunity.
  3. When the properties menu opens on the right-hand side of the page, enter Responsive Profile Center in the Visualforce Page Name field, set the height (in pixels), then click Save.
  4. Click Activate on the Page Saved pop-up.
  5. Click Assign as Ord Default on the Activation: Account Record Page pop-up.
  6. Click the Desktop and phone radio button on the Assign form factor pop-up, then click Next.
  7. Click Save on the Review assignment pop-up.
  8. Click Save at the top right-hand side of the screen.
  9. Go back to the Accounts page where you will see the Responsive Profile Center account you just created. Click Connect to Responsive and sign into your Responsive account.
    • You will be navigated to the opportunity with the Profile Center pane.
    • You can now perform the following actions on Salesforce:
      • View published profiles
      • Share profiles
      • Launch Responsive Profile Center from Salesforce
