Requesting Signatures with Signeasy for iOS

How does requesting a signature work?

With the Signeasy iOS app, you can easily send documents for signature. Your recipients will receive an email invitation to sign from any computer. If you’d like signers to complete the process on a mobile device with assigned fields, you’ll need to add fields using the Web app.

How to request a signature

  1. Import the document you’d like to send.

  2. Tap the Sign icon and choose Send for Signature.

  3. By default, you are added as the first signer.image.png

  4. Tap Add Signer and enter the signer’s email address to include them.image.png

  5. To delete a signer (including yourself), tap the red minus symbol next to their email and confirm delete.

  6. If you need documents signed in a specific order, enable Set Signing Order. You can drag and reorder signers using the drag icon (three parallel lines). If order doesn’t matter, simply turn off this option.

  7. Tap Next in the top-right corner to place signature fields on the document.

  8. Tap Next again, then Send to finalize your signature request.

How to track your request

You can monitor signature requests from your app dashboard. They will appear under Pending → Waiting for Others.image.png

  • To nudge a signer, open the document preview and tap the Remind icon at the bottom right to send them a reminder.image.png

How to cancel a request

If you no longer need the document signed or want to revise the request, you can void it in two ways:

  • Open the document from the Waiting for Others section and tap Void at the bottom left.image.png

  • Or, tap the Information icon on the document and select Void from the options.image.png
