My document won't import, what should I do?

If you document isn't importing or giving you an error when you try to import, there are a couple of steps to troubleshoot:

  • Check the document size

  • Signeasy support a maximum size of 40mb, however, note that documents larger than 15mb will take a while to import due to the process of converting to PDF

  • Check that you have a strong network connection. Signeasy will try its best to import your document, but you'll need a relatively strong WiFi or cellular connection (3G or better, 4G preferred) in order to import.

  • Check that your document format is supported. Signeasy supports the following formats:

    • PDF

    • MS-Office (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt)

    • Open-Office (.odt, .ods,. odp)

    • Text (.txt)

    • HTML

    • Rich Text Format (.rtf)

    • CSV

    • Images (.jpg, .bmp, .png, .tiff)

It's still not working!

If the steps above didn't help, and you've got to get something signed, you can try the following:

  • Import your document through the Web app at https://app.signeasy.com. Sign and complete it here just as you would in the iOS app!

  • Forward your document (in the case of an email attachment) to add@signeasy.com. We'll import it for you, and send you a notification when it's done.
