Troubleshooting Import IssuesResolve Signeasy import issues, including unsupported files and upload errors, to maintain smooth workflows.
Updated last year

If your document isn't importing or giving you an error when you try to import, there are a couple of steps to troubleshoot:

  • Check the document size

  • Signeasy support a maximum size of 40MB, however, note that documents larger than 15MB will take a while to import due to the process of converting to PDF

  • Check that you have a strong network connection. Signeasy will try its best to import your document, but you'll need a relatively strong WiFi in order to import.

  • Check that your document format is supported. Signeasy supports the following formats:

    • PDF

    • MS-Office (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt)

    • Open-Office (.odt, .ods,. odp)

    • Text (.txt)

    • HTML

    • Rich Text Format (.rtf)

    • CSV

    • Images (.jpg, .bmp, .png, .tiff)

It's still not working!

If the steps above didn't help, and you've got to get something signed, you can try the following:

  • Forward your document (in the case of an email attachment) to add@signeasy.com. We'll import it for you, and send you a notification when it's done.
