Subject: This guide discusses Orum Automations associated with the Dispositions setting. With Disposition Automations, you can
Remove a prospect, number, or prospect and number when a certain disposition is selected
Add a prospect, number, or prospect and number to DNC when a certain disposition is selected
Note: these automations start and end in the Orum platform. For example if a prospect is "removed" in Orum via one of these Automations, you will still find them in your CRM unless that same automation is created in your CRM.
A word of caution: in almost all instances, it is better to create automation in your CRM/SEP that accomplishes the same thing as Disposition Automation. The reason being it is much easier to update your data in masse there than it is in the Orum platform. And you typically want all automations built in a single platform so you have a full picture of all automations that exist.
The Orum CSV integration is one where it makes sense to use Disposition Automations freely
Under the Dispositions Setting, hit the Edit button next to any Disposition.
Within the pop-up window you will see all available automations associated with that Disposition.
A description is provided with the Automation so you know exactly what that Automation will do if applied.
There is no scenario in which we will automatically apply any Dispostion Automations. These are always manually configured.
Look under the Automation Column. If you need a reminder on what that Automation does, you can hover over the ? icon.
The only thing they need to do is properly select their Dispositions. As soon as they save a Disposition, Orum will check and see if any Disposition Automations exist and run those accordingly. We will show your Reps if a Disposition Automation is configured for that Disposition before they select it.
If Orum Automation automatically completes any calls, the Dispositions configured under Cause Disposition Mapping will power Disposition Automations just like a manually saved Disposition would.
