Where are my call tasks?
Updated 6 months ago

This article describes how to troubleshoot Call Tasks associated with a call list, report, sequence, or cadence that are not populating in Orum.

Where are my call tasks / Why are tasks missing from my List?

This question is asked frequently and usually has a logical reason. Work through this checklist to identify which situation is at play for you. If none of the below situations apply, please contact our Support team to investigate further!

  1. Hit the Refresh button at the top of the Orum interface. This will ping the integrated platform for the most recent set of active tasks.

  2. Ensure the tasks are due or past due. Orum only pulls tasks that are listed as due or past due and are assigned to you in the integrated platform. Tasks due in the future will not pull into Orum.

  3. Ensure the tasks are assigned to you. While you can see shared Lists, you cannot see or call against tasks belonging to other Reps.

  4. Ensure the tasks are Call tasks. You cannot call against Email or other types of tasks in Orum.

  5. Ensure you are looking at the right List.

  6. Clear all applied Filters at the top of your Orum Dialer interface.

  7. There are duplicate tasks for the Prospect. Orum only pulls in one unique task per Prospect per list at a time. For example: if a single Prospect has three due tasks under the list "Rocketship Report," only one appears at a time. As soon as it is completed, the next one appears for that Prospect.

  8. If the List of Tasks itself isn't appearing in the List dropdown, make sure you are typing out the list name exactly how it appears in the integrated platform. Hit enter to search for it if necessary.

  9. Outreach + SalesLoft only: ensure your task is not a manual task found under the "One off Due Tasks" List. Manual call tasks are different than Sequence/Cadence tasks.

  10. The tasks are far down in your list. For most integrations tasks are arranged from oldest to newest unless a different sorting field has been applied. You can try sorting your list by a different field or navigating through your pages of tasks to find the one in question.

  11. You are attempting to load over 1000 tasks at a time. Orum ingests tasks in batches of 1000 to maintain performance and provide a seamless dialing experience.

    1. Reps can typically avoid loading this many tasks by selecting specific Lists vs the "All Sequence Due" Lists.

    2. The number of tasks in your loaded List can be found at the bottom of the Dialer interface.

  12. (Outreach only: Rare occurence) If you delete a sequence in Outreach and it has already due tasks that you haven't deleted/marked complete, sometimes those tasks will remain active and due in Outreach even though their parent sequence has been deleted. However, Orum will not pull in these tasks as our code cannot match them with any List due to the Sequence being deleted. We recommend manually completing these tasks in Outreach. This should be a very rare occurence.
