Teams Overview

This guide will help you navigate the Teams settings within Orum to create and manage teams.

With Teams, You Can:

  • Build teams directly within Orum

  • Import existing teams from Outreach, Salesloft, or Salesforce

  • Apply team filters in Orum's Analytics, Call History, and Salesfloor

  • Enable your reps to view Analytics and Call History data for their teammates

Where To Find Teams Settings

Note: You’ll need a qualifying Orum package to use Teams.

To configure or manage Teams, head to Settings > Teams. The menu on the left side can be expanded to view your available teams, including:

  • Teams created within Orum

  • Teams synced from Outreach, Salesloft, and Salesforce

How To Sync Teams From An Integration

Orum Admins can easily sync teams from Outreach, Salesloft, or Salesforce.

To sync teams:

  1. Go to Settings > Teams.

  2. Click the "SYNC TEAMS" button. This will pull copies of your company's teams from the integration into Orum.

Note: Make any edits or updates to synced teams within the integration and re-sync to reflect changes in Orum.

Teams will sync:

  • Each time an Orum admin logs in

  • When the "SYNC TEAMS" button is clicked

A tooltip will show the last sync time.

Create Teams in Orum

Creating teams within Orum is simple and there’s no limit to how many you can create!

To build a team:

  1. In Settings > Teams, click the "+" icon next to "ORUM TEAMS" on the left side.

  2. A modal will appear. Enter the team name and add users as needed.

Notes:

  • Reps can be added to multiple teams.

  • Teams must have unique names.

  • Teams created in Orum can be renamed, deleted, or edited anytime.

Once created, the team will appear in the list on the left side.

Managing Teams

Note: Teams synced from Outreach, Salesloft, or Salesforce cannot be edited in Orum. Make edits within the integration.

To manage teams:

  • Search: Use the search bar in Settings > Teams to quickly find a team.

  • Rename/Delete Team: Click the triple dots in Settings > Teams to rename or delete teams. Teams must have unique names.

  • Add Reps to a Team: Click the blue "ADD PEOPLE" button in Settings > Teams to add reps.

  • Remove Reps from a Team: Find the rep’s name, click the triple dots next to it, and select "REMOVE FROM TEAM".
