After installing the Responsive package on your Salesforce account, you can configure the Profile Center connection within Responsive.
You must be an Admin to configure the integration on Responsive.
As a prerequisite, you must have the Responsive package installed and set up on your Salesforce account. To install and configure Responsive on Salesforce, follow the instructions mentioned in the article below.
If you have the Responsive package installed already you can skip this step.
Go to Organization Settings > Integration > CRM, then click Configure on the Salesforce tile.
Turn the toggle on to enable Salesforce and click Submit.
Click Add New to create a new instance.
Enter the details for the required fields:
Click Connect to Salesforce and Publish Data For Reporting.
Note: This connects Responsive to the Salesforce instance specified. For a seamless connection, ensure you're logged in to Salesforce on another browser tab.
After successfully connecting to Salesforce, Account connected and Reports can be generated in Salesforce is displayed. Optionally, to test if the connection is active, click icon.
Check the Allow association of Profile Center with Salesforce box to allow users to create profiles in Responsive and associate them with Salesforce objects.
Check the Connect using Admin account instead of Individual user account box to allow the system use a global account (configured on this page) for all Salesforce lookups (this option is available only if the Allow association of Profile Center with Salesforce objects from within Responsive box is selected).
Note: If this box is not checked, users will have to connect to Salesforce using their own account.
Next, under the Select Object Type for Project Association section:
Finally, turn on the toggle to enable the instance, then click Submit.
