Changing the Owner of a Profile

Responsive makes it easy to change the owner of a profile. The new owner must already on the team as a Collaborator.

Note: Only the existing owner or an Admin can change the owner.

To change the owner in Profile Center, click the team avatars for the appropriate profile the main page.

Click the role of the person you want to make the owner to display the available roles. Select Transfer Ownership.

You may need to change all of an owner's profiles if, for example, they leave the company.

  1. Organization Settings > User Management > Manage Users appears by default. Scroll all the way to the right of the page.

  2. Select the three-dot Menu icon for the user, then click Deactivate.

  3. Click Transfer ownership to others.

  4. Scroll down to Select a new owner for Profile Center and enter the new owner’s name.

  5. Click Reassign. The user will be deactivated and their profiles will be owned by the new user.
