Consolidating PowerPoint presentations during export
Updated 3 months ago

Overview

This feature must be enabled prior to use. Contact the Customer Success Team, or customersuccess@responsive.io, to enable it.

The Merge PowerPoint feature allows you to consolidate multiple presentation attachments in your responses into a single file during export. You can review the slides from each attached file and choose which ones to include in the consolidated file before exporting the project. The final merged file will be attached to the export package.

Consolidating and managing PowerPoint slides during export

  1. Check the Include Combined Presentation checkbox during the Export settings step of the export process.
  2. Click Manage Slides.

The Manage Slides pop-up displays the following:
    1. Combined presentation’s file name.
    2. List of sections with presentations file(s) attached.
    3. Preview of the slides.
    4. Selected slides count.
  3. Do the following as needed:
    • Edit the File Name field to change the name of the final consolidated presentation.
    • Check the boxes next to the files you want to consolidate.
    • Check the boxes on the preview slides you want to include in the presentation.
    • Click and drag the handle beside a slide to reorder it.

Note: You can select multiple slides by using Shift/Ctrl (Windows) or Shift/Cmd (Mac).
  4. Click Done. Exporting the project creates a consolidated presentation with your selected slides in the order you chose. You can find this presentation in the Attachments folder.
