Editing Proposals and Adding Attachments

Overview

Once built, you can edit it proposals in either Responsive or Microsoft Word Online. You can attach files to the proposals you want to share.

Editing Proposals

Editing in Responsive

  1. Go to the proposal and click Edit edit icon.GIF.
  2. Make your changes and click Save to create a new version. Any changes you made can be viewed from the drop-down menu. Note that:
    • The version details are indicated on the Active tab of the Proposal list page.
    • A new version is created only when changes are made. Updating the Proposal Name, Description, or Tags, won't create new versions.
    • There is no limit on the number of versions you can create.
    • Older versions of the proposal are view only and can't be edited/modified.
    • Editing the proposal with pending reviews resets the review.

Editing in Microsoft Word Online

  1. Click Edit in Word Online.

    Note: The Editing indicator appears when the proposal is being edited in Microsoft Word Online. Hovering over the indicator displays which users are currently editing the document.

  2. Make your changes and click Save to create a new version. Any changes you made will be visible when you return after closing the Word Online window.

Adding Attachments

To attach files to the proposal, switch to the Files tab and click Attach Files to upload the document. You can upload files from your computer or the Document Library.
Note: Any documents attached to Section Templates will not be attached to the Proposal Builder proposal, you must attach them using this process . In addition, when sharing the proposal with the client, you also have to specifically check the box indicating that you want to share the attached files with the client (it's disabled by default).
