Why do I only see one price on my chart? Is it the BID or the ASK?

By default, MT4 charts will only show the history of the BID price. To see the ASK line for the current spread you need to manually add it to your chart using the following steps:

  1. Right-click on your chart
  2. Select Properties
  3. Select the 'Common' tab
  4. Check the ‘Show Ask Line’ box
  5. Click "Ok"
