Withdraw funds using Local Money Transfer (Japan) via the Axi mobile app to a verified Japanese bank account.
Available to residents of Japan only.
A verified Japanese bank account in your name is required.
If you haven’t registered a bank account yet, you will be prompted to provide your bank account details and upload a verification document (bank statement or passbook) during the withdrawal process.
Return to Source (RTS) applies: you must withdraw up to the original amount deposited via Local Money Transfer first.
Profits above the deposited amount can be withdrawn using any other available withdrawal methods shown in the app once RTS is consumed.
Ensure you are logged into your Live account, not a Demo account.
Minimum and maximum withdrawal limits apply — displayed in the app. If your request is outside these limits, an error message will appear.
Account Holder Name: Katakana characters only.
Account Number: exactly 7 numerical digits — numbers only, no spaces.
Account Type: select from the dropdown.
Bank Name: select from the dropdown.
Bank Branch Name and/or Bank Branch Code: enter exactly as shown in the official directory.
Bank statement or passbook required: name, account number, date within last 6 months.
Bank statements are official documents — receipts are not accepted.
Accepted file types: JPEG, PNG, PDF, HEIC. Maximum file size: 6 MB.
Pending bank accounts cannot be used for withdrawals.
Open the Axi mobile app and log in to your Live account.
Tap the Person icon in the top-left corner.
Select My Accounts, then tap Withdraw.
Choose your trading account.
Enter the withdrawal amount, select your preferred currency, and tap Continue
If no bank account is registered and verified, you can add a new one by entering all bank details, uploading a bank statement, and tapping Submit for Review. Verification is usually completed within 24 hours, depending on the validation process.
Select your verified bank account.
Review all details and tap Request Withdrawal.
1–2 business days for Axi to process your withdrawal request (excluding payment provider processing time).
Your balance is adjusted immediately after submitting the request.
If the withdrawal is unsuccessful, funds will be returned and Client Services will contact you with the reason and next steps.
