Effective 1 July 2025, the ART Worker Risk Insurance- Variable employer burden rate in Argentina has increased to 1.69% from 1.25%.
Effective 1 July 2025, updates have been made to Workers' Compensation employer burden rates in the following Australian states:
New South Wales (NSW): Increased to 0.218% (previously 0.213%)
Australian Capital Territory (ACT): Decreased to 0.45% (previously 0.51%)
Queensland (QLD): Decreased to 0.443% (previously 0.446%)
Western Australia (WA): Decreased to 0.40% (previously 0.43%)
Tasmania (TAS): Decreased to 0.72% (previously 0.75%)
Effective 1 July 2025, the Superannuation Guarantee (SG) rate has increased from 11.5% to 12%. The maximum quarterly contribution base has been increased to AUD 7,500 (previously AUD 7,483.05).
Effective 15 July 2025, the standard workweek in Colombia will be reduced to 44 hours, as part of the progressive reduction. This law gradually lowers the maximum weekly working hours from 48 to 42 hours between 2023 and 2026, without affecting workers’ salaries. The implementation schedule is as follows:
July 15, 2023 – 47 hours/week
July 15, 2024 – 46 hours/week
July 15, 2025 – 44 hours/week
July 15, 2026 – 42 hours/week
Effective September 2025, current employees in Ireland will be included under the government's mandatory auto-enrollment for pension contributions.
Please note that starting 1 January 2025, all new hires in Ireland will be subject to mandatory pension contributions. Both employees and employers will contribute 1.5% each. This adjustment will increase employer contributions.
Tax relief for pension contributions is available up to an annual earnings limit of EUR 115,000, with specific age-related percentage limits on contributions.
Effective 1 July 2025, the minimum wage for individuals aged 21 and older in the Netherlands is EUR 14.40 per hour. However, the minimum wage for individuals under the age of 21 varies.

The monthly maximum capped amount for Mandatory Life Insurance and Labor Risk Insurance (SCTR Pension) has increased to SOL 12,184.88 from SOL 12,015.27.
Effective 18 July 2025, the daily minimum wage in the Philippines is set at PHP 695 for non-agricultural workers and PHP 658 for workers in other sectors.
Effective 1 July 2025, the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) in Saudi Arabia implemented an increase in contribution rates, applicable only to employees who joined GOSI after the activation of the new system in 2024.
The contribution rate for both employees and employers will increase by 0.5% annually through 2028. As part of this change, the employer contribution rate has risen from 11.75% to 12.25%, and the employee contribution rate has increased from 9.75% to 10.25%.

The monthly ceiling of the national pension amount is increased from KRW 277,650 (6,170,0004.5%) to KRW 286,650 (6,370,0004.5%) for both employer and employee effective from July 1, 2025.
Effective July 1 to December 31, 2025, the Turkish government has confirmed the tax-exempt daily allowance amounts for both domestic and international travel.
For domestic travel, up to 686 TRY per day is exempt from income tax, depending on the employee’s salary level, as set out in the 2025 Central Government Budget Law (Annex H). For international travel, the tax-exempt per diem rates remain unchanged from previous periods. Exemption amounts vary by destination country and salary bracket. See this link for more information.
Effective 1 July 2025 to 31 December 2025, the maximum severance pay exempt from income tax in Turkey has increased to TRY 53,919.68. This updated threshold applies to all employees and represents the new seniority ceiling for calculating severance entitlements.
This will increase the employer’s costs by raising the amount of severance pay to be paid. It does not impact payroll taxes, so there is no additional cost in this regard.

TRY 585.11 for children aged 0–6 years
TRY 292.55 for children over 6 years
Published on July 28, 2025, Turkey's Supreme Court ruled that unpaid leave during the COVID-19 pandemic may be partially included in calculating severance pay and annual paid leave.
Specifically, only the portion of unpaid leave that does not exceed the employee’s notice period plus six weeks will count toward the service period. Any time beyond that limit is excluded from severance and leave entitlement calculations.
Employers must maintain clear documentation of all unpaid leave practices, including notifications, dates, and durations, to comply with this ruling and avoid potential legal risks.
