How to Reject Supported Employee Time-Off Requests

This article will show you how to reject a time-off request submitted by a supported employee.

A user must have the PTO Manager or Company Admin role to reject a supported employee time-off request.

Rejecting Time-Off Requests in the Global Work Platform™

Step 1. Login to the Global Work Platform™ and navigate to the Time tab.

If you have difficulty logging into the Global Work Platform™, please reference the "I'm having login issues" article.

Step 2. Under the Time Off Requests page, locate the time-off request you need to review.

You can search for time-off requests by either searching for the supported employee's name or filtering the time-off requests by "status."

Step 3. Click on the time-off request to review the request.

Step 4. Click 'Reject'.

A pop-up box will appear requesting your confirmation of the rejection.

Step 5. Click 'Reject Request' to reject the time-off request.

The time-off request status will now be "Rejected".

Bulk Rejecting Time Off Requests in the Global Work Platform™

Step 1. Login to the Global Work Platform™ and navigate to the Time tab.

If you have difficulty logging into the Global Work Platform™, please reference the "I'm having login issues" article.

Step 2. Under the Time Off Requests page, check the box next to the time off requests you need to reject.

To select all time off requests, check the box at the top of the column of check boxes.

Step 3. Click the Reject button located within the blue callout section at the top of the Time Off Requests page.

Step 4. Click the red Reject button in the "Reject Request" pop-up.

The time-off request status will now be "Rejected".

PTO Managers can submit time off requests on behalf of a supported employee in the Global Work Platform™. Please note that doing so will automatically approve the request.
