ANSWER: To set up sales tax payments, please add your bank details during the onboarding process. This allows Kintsugi to automatically withdraw the necessary funds and remit the sales tax to the correct jurisdictions.

Click Billing Details.
Look for the Payment Method section and you should be able to add your payment method there.
Kintsugi currently supports only ACH (Automated Clearing House) payments for sales tax remittance. ACH is preferred for the following reasons:
Security—ACH transactions are more secure than credit card payments for tax remittance.
Higher Payment Limits—ACH allows for larger transaction amounts.
Security & Fraud Prevention—We do not accept credit card payments for tax remittance to protect you from potential fraud and unauthorized transactions. Storing credit card data for tax payments increases security risks and could expose your sensitive information. By using safer, more secure payment methods, we help ensure your tax payments are processed reliably and without interruption. This approach minimizes fraud, reduces errors, and saves you from unnecessary complications.
For a seamless and secure tax remittance experience, we recommend using ACH payments through Kintsugi. We're always here to help. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, please reach out to us at success@trykintsugi.com
