The state is missing from Monitoring under the use tax Tax Type, or no use tax filing is generated for a period where you expected one.
The upload was processed as sales instead of purchases
The purchases fall outside the filing period you are looking at
Vendors charged the full applicable tax on those purchases, so the calculated liability is zero
You are looking for local-level exposure in Missouri, a Colorado home-rule jurisdiction, or Alaska, where liability is state level only
Your organization is not enabled for use tax in production
Open your upload history and check whether the file is marked as a purchase upload.
If it was processed as sales, re-upload with Purchases selected, then confirm the rows appear under the Purchases tab in Transactions.
Check the transaction dates on the affected purchases against the filing period.
No fix is needed. A line where the vendor charged the applicable amount or more carries zero liability, so no exposure is created.
No fix is available in this release. Local-level use tax in Missouri, Colorado home-rule jurisdictions, and Alaska is not calculated.
