Ever wonder why a transaction might be missing from your dashboard? It's all about how we sort them to keep your view clear and useful! This guide explains which transactions you'll see and which you won't.
Your dashboard shows transactions that are complete and important for your records. These include:
COMMITTED: The payment is done, and the transaction is final.
FULLY_REFUNDED: The transaction was paid, but the full amount was returned.
PARTIALLY_REFUNDED: The transaction was paid, but only part of the amount was returned.
These are the transactions that have finished their process and are relevant for things like tax filing.
To keep your dashboard focused on completed items, we exclude:
PENDING: These transactions are still in progress and haven't been paid or finalized yet.
CANCELLED: These transactions were never completed or paid; they're voided.
If you use QuickBooks, there's a slight difference. When a QuickBooks transaction starts as PENDING, our system automatically updates it to COMMITTED. This means it will show up on your dashboard just like any other finished transaction. No extra steps needed for QuickBooks!
For integrations like Stripe and Chargebee:
PENDING transactions (like draft invoices) will not appear on your dashboard.
Only COMMITTED transactions are displayed.
Transaction Status | On Dashboard? | What It Means |
COMMITTED | ✅ Yes | Paid and finalized |
FULLY REFUNDED | ✅ Yes | Part of finalized history |
PARTIALLY REFUNDED | ✅ Yes | Part of finalized history |
PENDING | ❌ No | Excluded (unless from QuickBooks, which we fix) |
CANCELLED | ❌ No |
Ignored – not actionable |
If you can't find a transaction, check its status. Remember, only finalized transactions (COMMITTED or refunded) appear on your dashboard, with QuickBooks being the exception we handle automatically.
