How to Add and Manage Users in Kintsugi

Learn how to add a user to your Kintsugi account: open Configuration, go to Users, click Invite, enter an email, assign a role, and save the change.

The Users tab in Kintsugi lists everyone who has access to your account. From this one page you can invite new team members, assign or change their roles, and manage their email notification preferences. This guide walks you through each task step by step.

Access the User Accounts

  1. Log in to Kintsugi.

  2. Click Configuration in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select the Users section at the Configuration menu.

  4. The Users tab shows every user on your account along with their role, status, and email notification settings. Use the search bar to quickly find a specific user on larger teams.

Add a New User

  1. On the Users tab, click the Invite button in the upper right.

  2. Enter the User Details:

    1. Enter the new user's Email address.

    2. Select a Role from the dropdown: Owner, Admin, or Member.

    3. Click Save.

A confirmation message appears once the invitation is sent.

The new user can then access Kintsugi with the permissions that come with their assigned role.


Change a User's Role

You can update a user's role at any time:

  1. Go to Configuration > Users.

  2. Find the user in the list, then click the Role dropdown on their row.

  3. Select the new role. The change takes effect right away.

User Roles at a Glance

  • Owner: Full control over the account, including billing and user management

  • Admin: Can manage settings and users, but cannot manage billing

  • Member: Basic access with limited permissions
