Kintsugi’s Registration UI for EU: Importing EU Registrations

Kintsugi makes managing your European Union (EU) VAT (Value Added Tax) obligations simple and straightforward. This guide will walk you through the key features of our EU jurisdiction Registration interface.

The Registration tab helps you manage and import your tax registrations for EU jurisdictions.

Steps to Import:

1. Click “Registrations” tab.

2. Click the "Import" button.

3. Fill the Import Registration form.

i. Fill the Select Registration Option field by choosing any of the two:

  1. Import Registration for a Jurisdiction

  2. Import One Stop Shop (OSS) Registration

ii. Fill the other fields in the form (Registration Date, Registration Email, Filing Frequency).

iii. Authorize Kintsugi to handle Power of Attorney processes by checking the box.

iv. Click "Save" to submit changes.

4. After importing, your registration goes through validation.

5. Upon successful submission, a confirmation message will appear, and the status will be updated to “Validating.”

5. You can edit the registration later if needed.

6. Once you’re registered in an EU OSS jurisdiction, you can:

  • Add credit to your account to support EU OSS registrations

  • Use that credit to support filings for specific countries

  • All transactions in this section will display in Euro (EUR) for consistency.
