Does Kintsugi Work with Stripe?

Kintsugi currently supports tax calculations for transactions made through Stripe Invoicing—not Stripe Payments.

Why only Stripe Invoicing?

Stripe Payments often lacks key details we need to calculate sales tax accurately, such as:

  • Shipping addresses

  • Product descriptions

  • Quantity of items sold

Without these data, we can't ensure accurate tax calculations. Stripe Invoices, on the other hand, provides all the necessary information.
