What is Singapore GST?

Singapore levies a Goods and Services Tax (GST) — a broad-based consumption tax administered by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS). It applies to the sale of most goods and services made in Singapore, including digital and remote services sold to Singapore customers by overseas businesses.

The current standard GST rate is 9%, effective from January 1, 2024.
