Enabling Third-Party Access in New Mexico

How to add third-party access from your New Mexico TAP account.

This help article walks you through the steps to grant third-party access to your New Mexico sales tax account. Providing these permissions allows Kintsugi to retrieve your registration details and complete the registration import setup within the app.


Step 1: Access your New Mexico TAP account

  1. Go to the New Mexico TAP login page.

  2. Enter your logon (username) and password and click “Log In.”

Step 2: After logging in, click “Manage My Profile” to continue

Step 3: Click “More Profile Options…”

Step 4: Click “Manage Third Party Access” under the “Access Management” card

Step 5: Click the blue “Add” hyperlink

Step 6: Click the “Next” button

Step 7: Enter “KintsugiAI” for “Other Taxpayer’s Logon”

Step 8: Click Add/Edit Account Access, then click the blue 'Add an Account' hyperlink.

Step 9: Fill the Account Access Page

9.1. For the Account Type select “Gross Receipts.”

9.2. For Access Level, choose ‘File Returns and Make Payments.’ 

9.3. Click the “Add” button.

Step 10: Click the “OK” button to continue

Step 11:Leave the Customer Access Type as “Standard” and click “Submit.”

Step 12: Kintsugi will receive a confirmation request. Click “OK” and log out of your account.
