We have made an important change to how Premium plans are billed, and we want to make sure it is clear before your next invoice arrives.

What changed?

Kintsugi has moved from billing in arrears (paying after your service period ends) to prepaid billing (paying before your service period begins). This means your charges are now processed at the start of each billing cycle.

Why does my invoice show two charges this month?

Because of this transition, Premium customers will see two line items on their invoice this month only:

  • A charge for the prior service period (the final month billed under the old arrears model)

  • A charge for the current service period (billed in advance under the new prepaid model)

This is a one-time adjustment as we move from one billing method to the other. It is not a duplicate charge or an error.

What can I expect going forward?

Starting next month, your invoice will return to a single monthly charge, billed in advance for that service period. No surprises, just one clean line item each cycle.
