Arizona Credentials for Importing Registration

Where to locate the state-issued credentials required for registration import
Updated 2 days ago

When you import an existing Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) registration into Kintsugi, you’ll need the access credentials associated with your AZTaxes.gov account. Unlike other states, Arizona does not issue a physical or digital “credentialing letter.” Instead, your login information and required access codes are tied directly to your AZTaxes.gov profile.

This guide explains which Arizona credentials you need, where to find them, and the steps you take if you are unable to access them.

What Arizona Uses Instead of a Credentialing Letter

Arizona does not generate an account activation letter.
Instead, the state relies on credentials that the business created or received during its TPT registration.

  • Username/Email – used for AZTaxes.gov login

  • Password – tied to AZTaxes.gov account access

  • E-Signature PIN – required for filing authorization / third-party process

If Your Credentials Cannot Be Located

If you cannot locate your login credentials or E-signature PIN:

  • Use the “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password” tools on AZTaxes.gov

  • Contact the Arizona Department of Revenue at:
Arizona DOR: (602) 255-3381 (Press 1 for English, 1 for business, then 3 for Representative)

  • Request assistance with retrieving account access information or PIN reset

Next Step

Once you provide the required credentials, Kintsugi will initiate the third-party access request. You do not need to validate or approve the request separately, as Kintsugi will complete this step on your behalf.

Once access is confirmed, Kintsugi can continue with the registration import setup in the app.
