Enabling Third-Party Access in Idaho

How to activate third-party access in Idaho TAP.

This guide walks you through enabling third-party access in your Idaho TAP account. Granting these permissions is required before Kintsugi can access your registration information and complete the Idaho registration import.



Step 1: Open Your Idaho TAP Profile

  1. Go to https://idahotap.gentax.com

  2. Enter your credentials and click "Log In."


Step 2: Look for your Account ID

Once logged in, you will see the account ID in the account summary. Share it with Kintsugi.

Kintsugi will initiate a third-party access request upon receipt of your registration business name and account ID.


Note: Once Kintsugi initiates the third-party access request, you will receive a security code. Please share it with us upon receipt so we can continue the access setup.


Step 3: Share the Access Code with Kintsugi

Idaho will mail a letter to your address with the security code. It can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. You can also call the Idaho State Tax Commission at 800-972-7660 for the security code.

Once you have the code, please share it with Kintsugi immediately because it expires.
