Get started with Computer

You can create your Computer account on the web or directly in the Android or iOS app. Choose the surface you want to use to get started.

Sign up on your phone

  1. Install the Computer mobile app from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Open the app and follow its sign-up flow. You can get started directly from the app rather than first signing up on the website.

  3. During setup, connect the tools you want Computer to use and explore the suggested skills.

Sign up on the web

  1. Open the DevRev website and click Sign up.

  2. Choose Google, LinkedIn, or email and complete authentication.

Complete your onboarding

Web onboarding prompts

After signing up on the web, follow Computer’s conversational onboarding prompts to customize your workspace. The flow asks for your name, organization name, teammates you want to invite, and goals:

  • Your name: Enter your full name to help teammates recognize you within the workspace.

  • Organization name: Provide a name for your organization, visible to all members, to identify your workspace.

  • Invite users: Add email addresses of teammates you’d like to invite to your organization. You can also skip this step and invite users later from the Users settings page.

  • Goals: Share your objectives with Computer. This allows Computer to understand your priorities and tailor its assistance accordingly.

Mobile setup

You can also sign up directly in the Computer app on Android or iOS. During mobile setup, connect your tools and explore suggested skills so you can start working from your phone.

Access Computer

Computer is available across four surfaces:

  • Web app: Open the DevRev app and navigate to Computer from the sidebar.

  • Desktop app: Download the native desktop application for macOS and Windows.

  • Mobile app: Install Computer on Android or iOS. You can sign up directly in the app, connect tools, explore suggested skills during setup, and start working from your phone.

  • In-app sidebar: Access Computer as an embedded sidebar within supported integrations and tools.

Start using Computer

Once you've completed the onboarding, you'll be taken to your workspace and can begin using Computer right away. You can further customize your experience by adding connectors, adjusting your preferences, and exploring the settings.
