You can export a workflow as a template and import it into another workspace. This is useful for sharing proven automations across teams or organizations without rebuilding them from scratch.
Export a workflow
Go to Settings > Workflows.
Open the workflow you want to export.
Click the download icon in the workflow toolbar.
The export generates a portable template that includes all steps, connections, and configuration. It does not include workspace-specific references such as user IDs, group IDs, or snap-in connections.
Import a workflow
Go to Settings > Workflows.
Click + Workflow and select Import in the creation dialog.
The imported workflow is created in draft state. Before publishing, review and update any references that are specific to your workspace, such as:
Groups used in Pick User or routing nodes.
Connections required by HTTP or third-party nodes.
Custom fields that may not exist in the target workspace.
Snap-in nodes that require the corresponding snap-in to be installed.
Limitations
Workflows import in draft state and must be explicitly published.
Third-party nodes (from snap-ins) are missing if the snap-in is not installed in the target workspace.
Workspace-specific IDs (users, groups, parts) are not portable and must be reconfigured after import.
